Concerts of the Trio Arbós

The Trio Arbós was foundet by the violinist Miguel Borrego, the cellist José Miguel Gómez and the pianist Juan Carlos Garvayo in 1996. The Trio Arbós was named after the Spanish violinist, conductor and composer Enrique Fernández Arbós (1863-1939) and is one of the leading chamber music ensembles in Spain. Its repertoire includes Classical and Romantic music  as well as contemporary music.

Thus the three musicians play regularly first releases of music pieces which are composed for them. Some of the composers are Mauricio Sotelo, Luis de Pablo, Jesús Torres, Hilda Paredes, Roberto Sierra, Jorge E. López, Bernhard Gander, Aureliano Cattaneo, César Camarero, José María Sánchez Verdú, José Luis Turina, Gabriel Erkoreka, Marisa Manchado and Harry Hewitt.

Since 2010 José Miguel Gómez plays an Haat-Hedlef Uilderks Cello which was made like Petrus Guarnerius.  Please visit also the interesting website of the Trio.
