Amaryllis- Quartet

The Amaryllis Quartet plays regularly takes part in concert series and at festivals in Germany and in Switzerland. In addition, these musicians won the first prize at the international "Charles Hennen Concours” in April 2005 in Holland. The Amaryllis Quartet wins 1 prize in 6th Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition and
was already in the finale of the Borciano - competition. (Finalprize) and wins the Echo Klassik 2012 for their CD "white"

The quartet consists of the following musicians: Gustav Frielinghaus and Lena Wirth, violin, Lena Eckels, viola, und Yves Sandoz, violoncello. Lena Eckels has been performing with a Uilderks viola modelled after Gasparo da Saló since April 2007. Please visit their Amaryllis Quartet website. The quartets Géza Frid clip is brand new. On the CD you can hear how this first-rate string quartet plays op.1 Nr.2, the Nr.1 op.21 and op.3 Nr.30 with furious energy. The CD is available in our Stradivarishop.
