Mathias Johansen
Mathias Johansen
As from spring 2009 the young cellist Mathias Johansen played on a Uilderks cello for two years. It was loan by the owner of the cello . The instrument is a copy of this Domenico Montagnana cello. Many luthiers have chosen these instruments as models for their cellos.
In spring 2011, Mathias Johansen received a cello made by Joseph Anthony Rocca (Turin 1839), which borrows the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
Mathias Johansen has a very nice Web site where you can read more about this successful cellist, see and listen a number of videos and pictures of our Montagnana cello.
